Dedicating Merits to Departed Loved Ones, Ancestors, Friends and All Beings

Shakyamuni Vihara Melaka recently conducted a meaningful three days Seventh Lunar Month Prayer Ceremony, dedicated to our departed relatives, ancestors, friends, and loved ones.

Over the three days, prayers and chanting were conducted in two sessions each day:

• Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• Evening Session: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM

We are deeply grateful to see so many devotees and members of the community attending the ceremonies and participating with sincere faith and devotion. The prayers were conducted smoothly and peacefully, creating a meaningful opportunity for everyone to remember their departed loved ones and dedicate merits towards their well-being.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all the generous donors and devotees whose kind support made this prayer ceremony possible.

A very special thank you to our wonderful volunteers for your time, dedication, and selfless service throughout all three days. Your support in preparing the vihara, welcoming devotees, arranging the sessions, and assisting with the smooth running of the programme is truly appreciated.

May the merits of these wholesome deeds be dedicated to all departed relatives, ancestors, friends, and loved ones.

May they be free from suffering and find peace and happiness.

May all beings be blessed with peace, happiness and well-being finally attained bliss of Nibbana.
